My friend had the 240Z, myself the 260Z and the 280Z. Forget it. Doesn't look anything like those. I've owned Z's since way back. I wish the 240Z/280Z style was still here with the engine upgrades but styles change and that isn't my bag. Design isn't what the Z needs, what they need to do is add horsepower to the already decent design. The 2003Z was a great design, and as time goes here goes again, design down and once again the Z's stop selling for a couple of years and return with a new one.

That thing looks horrible!!! I love Z's and always have but that is retarded.

Front end looks like a Mazda concept with a shorter grill. I actually really like the overall Mazda concept as a sedan But as a Z, um NO. It's like they saw this front end, thought thats nice, I'll get my 12 year old to draw it into a Z.







And seriously the worst part by far is the wanna be Dodge Charger door lines! I hate it on the Dodge & it's again somehow worse on the Z.




I'm smart enough to realize that concept cars go through many refinements based on the market & direct feedback. Im pretty sure that come production time the real thing will be beautiful and a far cry from the "concept" pictured.

Obviously the Supra won't look like that. It maybe close but obvious tells that that isn't what is going to be rolling down the road is stuff like the side mirrors & while I do love the way that concept looks, it's slightly to plain. I know some people would say it looks clean but where the Z concept is to much thats a bit to little. Put some kind a lines on the hood. In MY OPINION & sure some will disagree, the NON-HR hood would not look as good if it was missing the 2 lines up the middle.

 

I second that, and i want to see this new supra too i wonder if they will price it for the GTR or for the Z

 

I think they'll be going more toward GTR since I'm sure they believe that the Scion FR-S is competition for the Z; the new Supra looks promising.. glad they're finally bringing it back.

 

yeah thats what i was thinking as well, I hope it can rival the GTR though, the GTR is an almost untouchable stock car right now
