is the sticky clutch a master cylinder problem? i bought a zspeed master and took it to a z shop to have it installed cause i couldnt loosen the clutch lines. they said it wouldnt fix the problem and they wouldnt install it unless i also got a new csc which requires dropping the tranny. im thinking about getting the zspeed csc and a jwt clutch/flywheel if the csc has to be replaced but i really dont want to drop the tranny. i want to install the new master to see if it fixes the problem.

Just curious, what goes wrong with keeping the oem master/slave with the upgraded clutch/flywheel? I'm getting into that realm with my SC '07.

Easiest and cheapest place to start, 99% of the time a sticking pedal is due to the master getting worn out.
What shop would not install it?

How do you flush the clutch fluid. Everyone says it is easy but no DIY on it.

You will be dropping the tranny again when the CSC seal blows, the stock CSC can not handle an aftermarket clutch.Search.

I dont wanna point any fingers but its a popular shop in norcal. I just ended up bleeding the fluid too see if it would help since i havent changed it since the car was new. Now the pedal feels really firm and hasnt been sticking after hard launches. Hopefully the problem wont come back for a while. Ill just hold onto my Zspeed master and install it when i have to replace the csc.
