Imo if your Z will not be tracked hard or lowered more than 1.25", 9.5 +15 up front with 265/35 would be better than 10.5 +15 285/35 up front. 265/35 on 10.5 +15 will not stick out past your stock front fender width iirc (maybe barely) and you will not need aftermarket FUCA's if you eventually get lowering springs or Tokico D-specs to prevent rubbing.

I have never seen 285/40 rear what I have seen is 265/35 f 285/35 r and it looks fine with a 9.5/10.5 staggered setup.. but if you need the 40 series to keep your VDC/TCS/etc. in check it wouldn't look drastically different.
Okay so I looked around and found that 295/35 can fit w/o fender roll on rear with a 10.5 +25 wheel. If I got the wheel with +22 offset it wouldn't make a notable difference from +25 right? If so I would do that with either a 265/35 or a 275/35 on a 9.5 wheel. Would the 275 rub on the front with either +22 or +15 offset? Thanks for your help pyshin, this saves me a lot of confusion

EDIT: Here is the post I found 295/35 would fit:

In all honesty idk why you are trying to not roll the rear fenders, you should. The fronts are rolled from factory and it really doesn't take much to roll the rear. Every Z I've seen with a great wheel/tire combo has rolled rears. Just my .02.

295/35 would look great on the rear, but what brand/model will you be going with? I know my first choice (Hankook RS3's) don't come in 295/35, neither do economical Sumitomo HTR III's.

If you do 275/35 9.5 +15 f 295/35 10.5 +15 r (I'm sure you checked for stock diameter comparison) that would be a great meaty look. I don't know firsthand what the poke would be but I'd search the forums if you're curious.

I am not trying to avoid it, but if it could save me some money and look the same then that would be great! I just read that could work and that was an interesting detail. That is not going to have an effect on what I buy. I just don't want to buy camber arms yet and definitely don't want too much camber.

I am still looking into tires for this setup, but I am interested in the Continental Extreme Contact DW. It is one of the only tires that have both tire sizes and they sound like they perform well. I am hesitant though because I have read that they lasted 6,000 miles for some people and 25,000 for others. Both people said they were driving modestly...right. I know I could do different tires front to back and I am definitely looking into that.

EDIT: Just found Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Look like amazing tires, but they are over $1500 for the right size. I was wanting to go stickier than the Nitto Invo that I have now, but for the price to get one that will last a decent amount of time I think I might have to go for the same tire.

With sizes like that, you will always have to pay a pretty penny for quality.

And about tire reviews... Hell reviews of anything... Take them with a grain of salt because some just make reviews for no good reason and create statistical outliers... Best thing to do would be to find someone whose opinion you respect and who has actually run the brand/model in question and ask them for a personal review.

Why do younger people always bring their age into the discussion. No one's asking. Also, the 350z is a very attainable car due to depreciation. '03-'04 going for as low as $8k on autotrader now. I see nothing wrong (or special) about parents buying their kid a 350z in HS. If you're being a good boy, then you deserve it.

That being said:

I like your choice in cars.
I would swap out the wheels.
Glad you're getting involved in the Z community and this forum. There's lots of useful info on here.

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum and that's how I did it.
I am very close to ordering the wheels, probably by the end of the week. Thanks for the input.

Look into the RDX antenna. Has a more clean, stock look. What type of hawk pads you get?

those are good, it's what I use. Formerly used the track pads. They squeal and make a lot of dust. I think you'll be pleased.

Ordering wheels tomorrow from RavSpec!
Official sizing:
Front- 18x9.5 +20
Rear- 18x10.5 +22

As of right now I think I am going to get Nitto Invo's again because I don't have the money to replace stickier tires every 8k miles and the Invo's are good for daily driving too.
Instead of the black I decided on GTS Silver. I thought it looked more classy and if I ever did want to change it I could powder coat them.
Won't be getting tires for another monthish, but still super excited to see them!

I've looked into Ohlins a little bit, but I haven't seen many in depth reviews of them. Also, I couldn't find any distributor on here where I could get a good price. I can get the KW V3's for $1900 from someone on here; I forget who it is. The reason I want them is because they are good for the track, but are also adjustable for daily driving. I know they don't have huge height adjustment, but I don't want to get it that low. The biggest drop I will do will be an inch or so.

After three month's I finally put the brake pads in. Haven't really got to put them to the test yet, but hopefully I will sunday. I am putting the old wheels on craigslist tomorrow. Hopefully will be able to get some coilovers with some of that money!
