Default 350z vs Civic SI

Well I am 19 and have always been a honda guy. I do not race often at all so speed is not overly a concern. Im more into looks and cruising. Currently own a civic si sedan. What do you guys think about the 350z compared to the Civic SI sedan as far as daily driving (ride quality, road noise, rattles etc)

There is no comparison. Civic is a 200 hp front wheel drive car. You would be better comparing it to a vw jetta. I think you will see quite a bit of difference in handling compared to the civic also. I had a car like yours before I got my Z and if you like cruising it is a nice car to drive. If you get 350z get a 07 or 08. Stay away from 2006 model, it is known to consume oil.

Thanks for the reply. I do realize the major power difference, but I am not wanting to know about speed. I am just wondering how you all think the two would compare on daily driving needs, such as to and from school, and around town. Basically is the Z a car that is nice to just ride around and chill in or does it always want to have the **** ran out of it? (I also realize fuel economy is not even close so im not after that either.)

I have driven a 350z before. Definitely more low end power for sure. Didnt get on it up high. But the speed difference is obvious. Ill be more specific. How is the ride in the 350z? I know ill miss all the room but does the 350 handle rough roads, and patched roads well? I have lots of those where I live.

I would Love to keep the civic and have the Z for a "weekend warrior" but I do not have the funds for that. I was just wondering how the Z is for Daily Driving

I daily drive it, and in areas with shitty roads. And a lot of traffic. It's definitely a pain in the ***. My 1996 Toyota corolla with 200k handled the bumps better. But I don't care about any of that so I deal with it.

They are great daily cars, I had mine as a daily for 5 years, drove it to Wisconsin once and to Texas once. The need a few parts to keep them going but they are reliable.
