Brickyard = 1 of 2404 (USA)

Well if the numbers are correct, then you can make it 2402 because my first 350 Performance was totaled. I was luckly able to pick up another Performance but I had to sacrifice the Nav. There is another post about the breakdown of how many cars of each color were ordered and 2350 was the estimate so I wouldn't be supprised if 2402 is correct. I preordered my car based on the color swatch and the website. I didn't see it in person until I went to the NY Auto Show two months later.

I had to drive from 250 miles from Dallas to get one of the last Brickyards in Texas last July. I learned to love the Z over time but I bought the car just for the color. I can't tell you how many times I come out to the parking lot after work on sunny days and people are just standing there looking at it.

There is a lady who lives down the street from me. She stopped as I was washing a few weekends ago, to ask what color my Z was. I told her, and we started chatting, I mentioned that they discontinued the Brickyard. She says "Oh that's a shame, I was hoping to be able to get my new BMW in that color!"
I get tons of compliments on the brickyard, and I agree that the frost leather is a great compliment to the BY, but what a pain in the **** it is to keep clean!

Brick is rare (now).
PPW is classy.
DB is loud.
SuperBlack is stealthy.
Le Mans is sunny.
Silverstone is magical.
Chrome Silver is plentiful (no, really).
Redline is... hm, I don't like Redline...sorry..

Yeah Iris mentioned that someone in Socal totaled a brick.
I also know one was in an accident in Nor Cal last year but I don't know what the damage was.
Any way here is mine.

Hmmm... I was looking at Dodge Magnum to replace my Jeep, but maybe I should buy a second Brick as a daily driver. There are a bunch listed over at AutoTrader.com.
If I put both of them in my garage, do I then have a Brick-House?

I love this color too!
Here is mine, I always hear " why would you get any other color?"
I saw this color at the NY auto show and I was sold. Had a little hard time getting it in the touring, but finally located one and my local dealer brought it down for me
It is just amazing in the Sun!

One less Brickyard - hopefully
Vin# 9959 - I'm one less Brickyard on the road. I had to LL her and she was turned in on 5/28/04. I know she might hit the road again - but I hope some poor sap doesn't get sucked in to the whole tire/alignment issues. I guess they might export her or just simply crush her. I do know she was shipped to CA once the title was signed over.
Any ways I LOVED the color and I was one of 6 in Jacksonville, FL. I just simply couldn't handle the "issues" she had.
If I had my way - I'd paint my 1983 Brickyard, but don't want to go to the poor house buying paint. $$$$
Attached picture was when I brought her home on 1/25/03
