Brickyard = 1 of 2404 (USA)
Im not that special then. Everytime i see a Z its silverstone like mine. Great minds think alike so we must all have realized what a great color it was. I liked the brickyard i saw in florida though. I may have gotten that had i seen it and known it was being discontinued.

That's one way to look at it. Just playing the devil's advocate and looking at the other side, it was the least liked color and they're doing away with it.
Oh, well.

That's why if you look at this thread...https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=55908
... Brickyard is leading total number of votes overall and as the leading car in the poll.
I don't think anyone really knows why the did away with Brickyard. I know that the color swatches the dealers got look nothing like the actual color, so that probably accounted for a good bit of under ordering. Also, based on what it took to match my paint for the bodykit, I learned that the Brickyard color itself is very expensive to mix. I personally think it was too expensive a color for Nissan to continue to offer for free. Would have been nice to see a premium option for it like the Liquid Silver, tho.
I'm with toykilla... I've actually had people do U-turns and chase me down a couple miles to find out about the color of my car.
FYI - if you have a Brickyard you have 1 of 2404 in the USA. This according to the most reliable source in the USA.
Woo hooo... Go Brickyard!
Hey Mcduck, how well were they able to match your paint? Do you have any info on the mix they used? My car is getting body damage repaired and I want to do everything I can to make sure they match the color as well as possible.
Thanks,
D'oh!

D'oh...
My paint match is dead on. If you didn't know the Nismo bodykit wasn't stock, you would never know.
The paint on my car is a tweaked version of the PPG formula. If you PM me, I can give you the name and number of the guy who did the work. Probably not much help directly, but I'm sure he can pass along the right info to the shop you recruit to do your work.

I'm glad I choose the color also. If I could have done it again - I would have ordered the carbon vs. frost interior. The forst gets dirty so easy and hate to clean it every few days..
There's actually a Brick that lives within a few blocks of my house. We've never met - but we do flash as we pass by. I've seen 5 total in the Jacksonville metro area.
I just wish my car would drive right.... lol

So if we look at this scientifically
Let us assume that there are 2403 bricks left in the Country
I doubt anybody in Alaska has one, but who knows
So that's 2403 bricks divided by let's say 49 states =
Just a tad over 49 bricks per state,
but some states are much bigger than others,
so if you live in Cali, Texas, Florida or New York add 30 bricks or so
all other states take 10 to 15 off
I feel pretty good knowing that there's only about 79 bricks in my state
How bout other brick owners?
Does anybody own a z in Alaska?

I can't tell you how many times I almost called my dealer to switch my order to a Brickyard. The color is SO sexy!
But in the end, I'm still happy to stuck with my gut--I'd rather race at Daytona than the Brickyard anyway. lol

I love the brickyard (biased cuz I have one of course) and have only seen 2 others in the Minnapolis/St. Paul area. I have yet to see another track modle brickyard red though......
I'm glad they quite selling it I like the exculsivity factor.
I get a lot of comments about the way the brickyard seems to change color in different lighting conditions. Very overcast or deep shade make it look almost chocolate while bright sun brings out the metalic flakes and deep red color...... One person thought I had it re-painted w/ one of those chamelon(sp?) paint jobs.
