The 2005 350z is a good choice. This model benefits from experience from 2003 and 2004 models (the first year releases of the 350z) with consequent fixes and improvements.

The car you are considering also has very low miles. Coupe vs. convertible is a personal preference. I will say the convertible top on the 350z is fabulous.
