Default I need to vent...(door ding!!!)

So first off, I've been without my car for two days while the stereo was being installed...now to the really bad part, first I been at the stereo shop for the last 8 hours waiting for them to get finished....only to notice that there was a newly acquired door ding on the driver's side door. I AM PISSED!!!! They just better hope it comes out (and they ARE picking up the bill for that). Then after they start testing everything they determine that one of my amps (purchased awhile back) is bad, so now I have to buy a new amp....then the sound proceeded to get worse while they were testing out the rest of the speakers, which they think is being caused by either a bad connection of bad line-level converter...ofcourse by now its 1am! Now, I have to bring it back for them to fix all of this crap!!!! I'm not a happy camper right now! ARGGGHHHHHH

Thanks for letting me vent!

Oh, and just to add to this, Thursday I went to the dealer to have my passenger visor replaced (the rattling is getting bad)...only to waste the whole morning, drive away, rattle still there...they received the wrong part (driver's visor) and never told me that they didn't replace the right one...now I have to bring it back again when they get the right part!!! ARGGGHHHH!!!

This is the EXACT reason I went with the Touring because I wanted a decent, stock system and to not have anyone tearing apart my car to put in a new system. I guess we both got f*cked.

Sorry about the door ding, man. At least they're fixing it.

Sorry to those that don't have their car yet, your right I should be happy I have mine already!

Being in an a job enviroment where customer/client service is my first priority, I jut get really frustrated with folks who don't strive to acheive that high level as well. While the stereo did briefly work, the sound was awesome, the Boston Acoustics sounded great and before my amp went dead, the JL IB4 (free-air) sounded pretty damn good as well. Going back Wed to get the stereo straight, I will post when its done.

My leather seats are getting installed Monday, keep your fingers crossed they don't screw something up!

Sorry, but the Bose is far from decent. I'm willing to bet the base system sounds better.

This door ding incident should be a wake up call to everyone on this forum. Next time you're at your local supermarket, Home Depot, Price Club, etc, take the time to return the carriage to the designated area, instead of being a lazy sack of protoplasm and letting them roll all over the lot.

Just last week, I was at the local Shop Rite when I saw a carriage rolling unattended down the road. I started running after it, and was cursing up a storm, noting how it was jerk-offs like that who don't care about their cars that are the bane of my existance (I was a bit less eloquent).

Coincidentally enough, the guy who let the carriage go was right there to hear what I said, and he got the point and started apologizing profusely.

A little care goes a long way, folks. Treat each car you see as if it were your own, and everyone gets along a LOT better.

Pay attention to the sarcasm a bit more in my post. I said we both got f*cked. The Bose in my CL Type S was more than adequate for what I listen to (thrash) and I *thought* that the Z Bose would be as good, if not better when I ordered in January.

I was WAY wrong...
