Attn: Austin & Surrounding area...
This Saturday, September 21, 2002, Capital Z of Texas will be meeting up at Z Raceway for some slotcar racing. I have the track reserved for us at 1:00pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can get the most time on the track.
Z Raceway is located at 15501-B North RR620, Austin, Texas 78717. This is between I-35 and 183. For more information, you can check out their website: Z Raceway .
This will be a good chance for you 350Z owners to get together and meet some of the older generation Z owners in the area.

Unfortunately, I can't make it. I found out this past weekend that I have to go back to Houston again next weekend.

I may try to make it, I can't race yet, but I would like to check it out. I think I met you a few times at some Maxima meets a while back....
My car is not broken in yet.... I had to go to Taiwan for a couple weeks right after I got the car, so it is in the garage with 600 miles on it.... Anyway, I get back on the 20th, if I am not to wiped out I will be there.

jran - we are not actually racing our cars. The place we are meeting at is a slot car race track (scale model cars racing on a mini track).
We have met at a couple of the maxima meets. You should try and make it out. I'd love to see your new Z in person.

I just want to throw a big Hello out to the fellow austinites! I recently moved here to start my first year of grad school and haven't had a chance to meet too many people yet. Sorry, I don't drive a Z, but I am enjoying my 7th gen celica. Anyway HI!

You don't have to be a Z owner to hang out with us. Although, some may tease you a little about your Celica.
But, it is all in good fun. We are just car fans and don't really care what kinda car you have. Come out to one of the events and I think you will find this to be the case. Hell, no one made too much fun of me when I rolled up in my MR2T. Of course, if I had hit that red S2K, that may have been a different story.

But, it is all in good fun. We are just car fans and don't really care what kinda car you have. Come out to one of the events and I think you will find this to be the case. Welcome to Austin. Which school you go to? My son is a Junior at UT. You hang out here, so you must like Z. I owned a Celica from 1979 to 1986 and love it. It is a great and super reliable car for the price. Nothing wrong with driving a Celica.

Anyway, I hope that the celica won't be around toooooo terribly much longer. We'll have to see how things go.

Damn, I can't make it, I had an something serious pop up this weekend that I have to take care of so I'll be outta town. I'll hit one of these eventually though...and definitely when I get my Z!
