I just had a thought that may get this problem some faster and more serious attention. If you are writing Nissan and/or Bose you may want to present this as a possible safety issue with the touring 350Z. You can even refer to the Manual on page 4-15 which states “The radio should not be tuned while driving so full attention may be given to vehicle operation.” And then reference the constant adjusting of the volume which is required due to the self adjusting volume feature. I believe a safety issue may get more prompt attention than a mere stereo compliant.
