It's true.
The following secret plan was found in a dumpster outside of Nissan HQ. It details their brilliant plan.
Step 1: Build a fast affordable sports car that sells like hotcakes and then discontinue selling it.
Step 2: ?????
Step 3: Profits!!!!

Well, my dealer just told me that for 2005 they are discontinuing the 350Z completely and replacing it with the Skyline R35 GT-R Super-quadruple turbo that runs on cat ****.

They are either doing away with the Z or bring a TT version of the Z in 2005 with 425hp,400lbs/ft torque for under 40K.I am not sure which one but this is what my "sources" tell me!

I thought they were changing the "Z" with a "Y" on all new cars and remarketing it as a "350Y".
That way next years car buyers will all think that its a completely new car line and be like "OMFG!!1!!11!"
And the people who already have 350z's will be like "OMFG!11!!11" and like go and trade in their 350Z's for 350Y's!
Thats so Wizzzzzard!
p.s. ^_^"

Actually according to the latest press release by NNA, beginning with the 05 model year, all 350Z manufacturing will be sub'd out to Kia and to further reduce manufacturing cost they will be equipped with the latest Kia Sophia motor promising to produce a whopping 98 bhp @ 5500 rpm.
