as a first performance I would suggest 4.08 gears and lsd. Then cai intake and single exhaust to save some weight. Your friends that got hydro locked caused it upon themselves, its a sports car why drive it in deep waters. Avoid areas that seem to flood when it rains. I been running injen dual cai for a year now.

one question about the plenum spacer....since this adds more air in the "intake" shouldnt it get tuned for the difference in air/fuel ration?? Or does the motor compensate itself?? was skeptical about this but this seems like its going to be my first upgrade with the pop charger... I refuse to run a CAI because two of my friends..one with an s2k and the other with a 350 both water locked there motors from this.
can wait to do both but don't wait long after getting both to get a tune

Header back would be the proper term. However a cat back would suffice in making a true dual, then from that point the only thing worth it, from what I have collected from dynos are longtube headers, which will replace your cats.
Apparently shorty headers are very minimal to no gains at all. Most complain that it is just louder. However longtubes show nice looking gains.

Get test pipes ASAP. The exhaust note will sound as if it had an amplifier attached to it. Test pipes give you the best bang for your buck!
Mine arent raspy; in the cabin I get a slight rasp at 3000 RPM but outside it sounds amazing, I cream myself when I hear someone else drive my car.

So far ive done intake and test pipes. Love my sound. Like whoah. Next is 37oz rear end, bushings, swaybars. 2.5" dual pipes welded to hks canisters from the test pipes. Oh and i have headers. Than osiris tune and brakes.
