1. The rev limiter is on all models but I'm not sure about the 5AT.
2. Those are HID washers for the headlights & are only offered in a few countries. US not being one of them.

It's not offered in the automatics. Instead, it shows which gear your in rather than a flashing light.

I think those are actually camera's. I don't remember where I was reading it, I think nissan of japan's site. Gives you a rear view, or corner view (at blind intersections) that displays on the nav screen.

actually, he's correct. in japan there is the option of these functioning as small side-view cameras, which display in split-screen on the nav system.

Default Fillers...

Look closely and you can see the cameras are in the same location above the side reflector. He just doesn't have the option installed so there are filler panels instead. I don't think there would be a need for a washer output below the rear plate. Looks like from this info there are locations for 3 cameras. It sucks we don't have that option in the States. Just my 2c.

i thought they are parking-sensors, specially for the rear one, it is in the mid of the rear bumper.

On the red car, those are headlight washers

On the silver car, those are cameras

The Cameras (JDM spec only) sit lower than the washers. The cameras sit right on top of the sidemarkers and the washer sit higher than that - right under the "crease" under the headlight housing

Yeah I might be wrong about the side cameras... it could be possible that they are lower than the washers, but I've never seen a car with (operating) washers so I can't be sure. Maybe the location changed when it went into production vs. initial design.

I'm still not budging on the rear spot though. There's no way in hell that could be used for cleaning anything.

The rear spot I am clueless about. However, lots of higher level cars like Audi and BMW have the same headlight spraying nozzle used for cleaning. I read somewhere that a headlight cleaning feature was mandatory in Europe for all H.I.D.-equipped headlights. Perhaps Japan is different and therefore they substitute the camera feature instead of the headlights washers.

i agree, there is no way those could be washers. there is no nozzle on them, and if there were, the angle they would have to spray at would be very inefficient. parking sensors make the most sence since that IS what they look like, and in Japan, parking is so tight and crowded, most cars come standard with these and power folding mirrors.
