Now that my Z is officially broken in....
Only about 105 I think, but with a hopped up Accord with coffee can exhaust and stickers about 10 car lengths back.
Hey, he begged me for a run. One thing I noticed, VDC is very agressive. It didn't really let go until the very top of second gear.

Gentleman, 140mph and still a lot left? Did you take the governor off or something. Cuz i believe this car is limited to 155. i love this car and i took it up to 110. but i did not feel like i could keep the pace going up to 150. maybe this is a biased opinion after drive my friends 550 maranello. but its def not substantially better above 100 mph than the bmw m roadster or a m3.
Just being realistic. But yes this car kicks ***!
PS. I guess some of us have the honeymoon syndrome, where the car can do no wrong. hehe

well last night
I got her up to 156-157mph won't go any higher, quite possibly speed limited, if it is its not an abrupt deacceleration so I'm thinking its drag limited. She needs a little more up top WERE da hell is the mad rush of aftermarket parts????

How fast?
Only up to 90 w/35 miles on it. Too much traffic to go higher, but I took it easy w/ about 1/2 throttle on the AT. 90mph is about 31-3200rpm, I was really watching the traffic, so I can't get any more precise.
Also, the Z is electronically limited to 155mph according to Nissan and all the car mag articles.

150mph =about 5000rpms
Didn't get a chance to look down at 156-157mph(wouldn't budge over even on slight downslope so electronically limited) but at 150mph the RPMS were sitting around 5000rpm. CAbin noise gets a bit loud over 120mph, I don't have the aero package yet*grin*. Backend feels planted, front end could use a slighty larger wider tire(feels a hair floaty over 130mph also help w/ understeer that the car has) because it feels rearward biased. The steering is tight, no slack. Love the car, anyone else getting 3rd gear chirps??!
