Default Dyno run on Friday, suggestions?

I will be dynoing my car on Friday in a single pull at the Speedventures track event at Buttonwillow. They are only charging $35 for a single pull. My car will have about 2000 miles on it and fresh Mobil 1. My question is: Should the dyno run be done in 5th gear since that is exactly a 1:1 ratio?

NO, In 5th at redline you would be at 130-140 mph, the shop won't let you run that fast for fear of the car jumping, run it in 3rd and the computer will correct for the ratio.

And pull the VDC fuse in the engine compartment.

I'm not sure about the Z, but in the G35, just turning it off doesn't fully turn it off. It probably does in the Z though.

Z32 TT's get the best results in fourth gear. Fourth gear on a Z32TT is 1.00:1 so I would say go with fifth gear in the Z33. At the shop that dyno'ed my Z32TT there was no concern about mph speed on the dyno.
