Default Overpriced Pieces of plastic for the Z

Well I pulled my OEM sideskirts off and over half of the plugs and grommets were so old that they broke like a thin piece of ice. I could not find these pieces no where locally so I found them on the Z1 website. Talk about getting bent over and done up with no lube!

After shipping it was a little over 40 bucks! There has to be a way to get these sorts of pieces at a reasonable price! Oh well, got to have them. Anybody find these sorts of things on any other sites for a more fair price?

Honestly the clips seem to be priced alright, Z1 is seriously fooking you over on the shipping though lol

So it was ~$2 per grommet shipped to your door? Doesn't sound horrible to me. Have you tried a dealer? Even if they don't have them in stock they can have them within 1-3 days and you don't pay shipping.

Im not sure if these are Z specific pieces but most of these little plastic things notorious for breaking can be bought on ebay or amazon in bulk for a really good price. Just have to dig a little to find the right piece

Can't recall how much I paid for mine at the dealer but I do remember being a little shocked at the cost. But considering they wanted to charge me over $3400 for suspension work one time, I figured those grommets were a steal in comparison.

True, yeah cheapest shipping with US Postal Service and it was like 20 bucks.
I could drive to their facility in like 5 hours lol. I don't go anywhere near our Nissan dealer. They are complete douchers.

$1.61 and $1.57 each on CourtesyParts.com

$31.80 + $13.71 parcel = $45.51

Z1 is on par... Not that it isn't expensive for plastic though.

Just dropped the Z off to the g uy who originally painted it. He asked about the OEM clips that i bought, asked how much for 10 i was like 8 bucks i think? He said he spent $200 dollars for all of them on the Z. I think 20 total... WOW. He was pissed!

Nissan Stealership sold them to him.
