From what I have read, the feathering is mostly on the stock 18" tires. I have a base with 17" and put on Pilot sports AS tires within the first 500miles. I have 25,000 miles on the z and no feathering.

Vince.... You refused to buy tires every 10,00 miles, but you just paid $7k over sticker for a protege!?!?!?! DOES this make ANY sense?

Dude, for the $7,000 you just lost you coulda had tires for 8 years! I dont get it, that is some ILL logic if you ask me!

Customer service is my No. 1 pet peive. I sold my car and dropped a server company that cost me 2 weeks and now inner ear audio is behind schedule all because of POOR customer service.

Money isn't the real issue here. its the fact that they sold me a defective product and refused to own up to their mistake. Not good business if you ask me!

at that price range i would have bought an srt4. but then i'm me, not you.

oh nevermind, i just saw you said no other dealers would touch the z. i also didn't know the ms protege was fi. what are the stock performance numbers? just curious.

When I went on a cruise with rx8club.com, some of the Mazda 6's showed up. Not bad cars. Probably better than an RX8 lol
