Annual Report from Oldest 350Z Owner on the Forum
Turned 78 today. Recovering from a minor throat procedure on my vocal chords but, aside from that, in pretty good health. My 81 year old wife, knock on wood, is also healthy. My O6 350Z is doing well. 94K and no mechanical problems.
Replaced the "power window switch finisher" on the driver's door. The old one had a lot of scratches on it, That appears to be a common problem with this model. Bought it on Ebay and installed it myself.
Major trips this year mainly to Phoenix (120 miles) for Barrett Jackson car show and a few medical appointments. Still doing counseling in a local school district but this will be my last year. The 45 mile trip, even though it is once a week, is getting tiring.
Still get that kick when I get in the car. Still getting compliments on it. Plan to keep it as long as I can drive. When I can no longer drive it plans have been made for it to be passed on to a 22 year old part time grandson/friend who learned to drive on it and will take good care of it. Take care and will get back to you when I turn 79.

Welcome back.
Good to see that the Z still brings joy to some people. Keep it for as long as you can.

Awesome! Happy Birthday!!
Now when my friends skeptically ask me why we still drive Z-Cars in our 50s, I can say, "Hey, I know a guy some 20+ years older than me who drives one, so why can't I indulge my lifelong lust like him?"
Cheers,
Mic
