Default New to forums - quick general question

Hello all,

I just purchased my first Z. It has always been a dream of mine owning one of these and am very happy to have finally been able to.

I'm at a very basic level of knowledge as far as these cars go, so my apologies if I cannot answer certain questions. I do have a few questions in regards to my car though. I recently acquired a car belonging to a guy that used to use these threads. I believe he was also friends with a, "Leemik" on here. I purchased, the car "Tubsy3" owned. In regards to his Anceltion front body kit. I was wondering why the car came with no mesh in the front. Did he take it off or is this kit specifically designed for no mesh in the front? Thanks for any insight in regards to this question. It seems like a shame with all those bugs going splat on parts past the kit.

Hi and welcome... The need for a screen mesh protecting your radiator depends somewhat upon where you drive your car.

Minnesota has every variety of flying insect. If you drive in northern Minnesota you car is plastered with dead bugs. The opposite is the case in Palm Springs CA where you rarely encounter flying insects on the road.

It should be an easy project devising a mesh if you need that.

Welcome- might also want to check on how much airflow gets through to the radiator with mesh in the bumper opening. It does make a difference!

Thanks, I didn't even think about that. Yeah, I guess they don't make these kits anymore from what I've read. My main issue with it is like I said bugs hitting everything and even worse if a huge rock got kicked up into it. But, thanks for the welcome and suggestions guys. I appreciate it. I'm sure y'all will see me on here more with more noob questions
