Idiots dinging the body with their doors
That's very close to my house - I'd never take 2 legal spots, but I do park over the line on END spots where there's no actual spot anyway.
Regarding the pic - difference is... vette would get a ticket, jeep would get towed. But both are douches.

I've dropped my gun a couple times and have seen the dent it makes in the floor, so I check when people park close to me and can pop them back if the dent lines up to their door. It was easier when the car was dirty because I would mark current scuffs and new ones were more obvious.

Hey everyone,
I've owned my Z for a month now, and I already got 3 dings from the doors of the people who park next to me! (mall, beach...)
The first time, I did park a bit close to a woman in an SUV (I call those BOARS) but I was within my lines. One would assume that if you're a bit tight, well, you're just gonna squeeze a bit more to enter your car, and be polite enough not to smash your car like a jerk into the one parked next to you. Whether that one drives a flashy red 350 or a beater.
I thought, well, let's leave more space the next time.
Sure enough, an idiot ended up leaving a second mark on my car.
I thought, well, I'm gonna park faaaaar from everyone and find an emptier zone.
Sure enough, someone parks right next to me and hits my car.
What's wrong with people? Do we live in a society of dimwits? Careless unaccountable dimwits? I can't understand how they think, because I can't imagine myself dinging someone else's car with my door. It would have to be a total accident, and that's very unlikely
Any tips welcome.... I don't even know what to do with all those scars on the paint now, and I'm sure more are on their way....

My car is 8 years old and I don't have a single ding. But then again I always park in the middle of nowhere and walk. If the lot is full enough that even the back has a bunch of cars I go for dat juicy end spot.
During my lunch break a couple weeks ago when I was in my daily, I was parked near the back and centered in my spot and a tow truck parked so close to my drivers side that I had to get in the passenger side and climb over the console. Made me wish I had a pocket knife or something so I could crack open my driver side door and shank one of his tires.
[QUOTE=Phenom;10607233]Your first mistake was parking near other cars. Your second mistake was thinking other drivers give a sh*t.
QFT,
Park next to the cleanest, newest and most expensive cars around.
Or do like I do.
Put your HandiCap card on the mirror and take up 9 feet.
