Default Stock 06 350z performance model???

Soo 350 owners I need some advice. I just recently purchased a 350z and I was wondering, what mod should I do first? Or is their a way you should mod in order? Like exhuast, intake, cams, headers, straight pipe, tune, wheels etc etc?

This is the beauty I got...I i know the pic isn't perfect but I'm just in love lol.

Beautiful Z- how about making your first mod...yourself?

Take a professional driving lesson at a nearby racetrack, or go to a SCCA PDX or NASA HPDE to improve your shifting and driving skills.

^^ This!!

One can't make an accurate assessment of WHAT modifications a car NEEDS without being able to drive it to at least 75% of its capabilities AS DELIVERED.

If one can't achieve that, no mods are even needed for anything other than the "COOL FACTOR". Psh.

First of all whats your goal and budget? A track warrior with 5k isnt gonna mod the same way as a streetwarrior with 20k to spend.

Find your goal, and plan accordingly. But first things first, take a driving course. Youre not as good of a driver as you think you are.

The performance model was in the middle of the Z33 lineup for the first few years of production. It was similar to a touring model, with 18" alloy wheels/tires, but had cloth seats, rather than leather. Track and touring were the most expensive models at that time.

Hello! Welcome to the family! Love the Z!

Before you do start your build, research what you want to mod and make a list.

Have a goal with your project so you will save a lot of money.

I've been through a phase where I'd buy something and not like if afterwards

If I could start all over though, I'd start with the wheels

Just some advice. If the part is cheap it's cheap for a reason cause it sucks. It's not a Honda. Z's are a lot more expensive. Research the forums a lot. Remember Google is your friend before asking what if I do this... We already see enough of those. There's a ton of info on this site alone. It pulls up 95% of the time when I have questions hence why I don't have a million posts and threads.

Just don't wreck the car before the 1 year mark. Good luck, statistics not on your side.

Someone help me out here.... Help me understand this "short antenna" obsession. And while you're at it, please explain the rear wiper delete "mod". Hardly think it's a "modification" when it yields absolutely nothing.... and does nothing for the looks of the car either.

What am I missing?

I actually like short antenna and rear wiper delete. Idk it just makes the car flow more smoothly.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind/care what anyone wants to do.... I just don't see it. Maybe because I don't pay attention to antennas and wipers. Items of dubious distinction to me.

Idk from the side view, it ruins the curves. On the front, rear or inside view, it doesnt matter haha
