I just got revved on by a 2012+ Dodge Challenger. It had a throaty exhaust note. I wanted to run at the light but my lady was in the car, she's a scaredy cat.

If the boat of a car you call Challenger was a V8 and had four working tires he/she would win with ease. If it was a V6 with an aftermarket exhaust, you might win with your five speed automatic, but it's not guaranteed. Your car weighs at least 400-500 lbs less than the challenger.
I have, in my dreams, raced a few V6 Challengers and Camaros and easily won, even before the most recent mods that I've added...again in my dreams.
I anticipate having a dream one day soon in which I race my coworker's 2012 Charger RT (Auto, V8, stock) that has around 380 HP (crank) and weighs around 4,000 lbs. I expect to win that contest in my dreams.

It had the hemi emblem on the hood if that helps. Haha, it is a boat of a car, but it does have a nice front end though. Headlights are kinda cool too. I'm def not a mopar guy tho.

not this time, i am running by DT here soon to see who they use to refinish... everything that i have seen they use the company that couldnt match it when the dealership had it
When I am up near my parents it's always rednecks in Challengers and Mustangs that want to race me up the mountain to their house. Wicked road that kills a few tourists each year. I usually lose sight of them after the second corner.
DO near DC the Genesis Coupes and the FRS/BRZ crowd get on my nerves a lot.
"In my dreams" I took 200.00 off a guy with an RX8 that wouldn't shut up at a 7-11. I even started behind him so he would go for 200.00 Followed his to the top of 2nd, hit third and just pulled around him....
I mostly get modern Tiburons (lol, Genesis Coupes) try to 'race' me and show off in front of me. It's soooo annoying. I think they are competing. I always see them staring the car down. Mustangs always try to go faster too.
Civics and RSXs generally respect the car and back off. RSXs usually let me go first and Civics stay far back because they know it's a completely different league.
What I like is when rich guys in Jags or other expensive sports cars look at the car in appreciation. That's pretty cool.
Which cars and drivers did you notice act differently around the 350z?
G35, VW Golf, BMW, Camaro, WRX and Honda.. for the most part.
At a stoplight, every car that pulls up next to me thinks that they are Goggles Pisano.
Soccer Moms, Q-Tips, Boi Ricers, Ralph Cramden, everyone has to gun it at the light to make sure they get in front of the Z. Then once they are in front they slow to 5-10 mph under the speed limit.
There are some days I really dislike driving the Z. Cops never bother me (I dont drive like an a$$ on public streets) - but everyone else seems to have a problem.
