I mostly get modern Tiburons (lol, Genesis Coupes) try to 'race' me and show off in front of me. It's soooo annoying. I think they are competing. I always see them staring the car down. Mustangs always try to go faster too.
Civics and RSXs generally respect the car and back off. RSXs usually let me go first and Civics stay far back because they know it's a completely different league.
What I like is when rich guys in Jags or other expensive sports cars look at the car in appreciation. That's pretty cool.
Which cars and drivers did you notice act differently around the 350z?

Civics, ****ing Civics. I don't even waste time with most of the POS shitboxes that rev at me. I'll blow your little ricer eardrums out if I get above 5k, so fawk off. I noticed it very quickly after getting the Z.
At a boy Mic.
The punks see us, and see no interest whatsover.
Street racing is for d bags and people that lack sense. We get a couple news stories a year about slightly used organs available. Very few miles on them, mb that's the upside.
Here in Vancouver (Hongcouver), mostly **** Civics. 18 y/o kids with no taste, who put so much money into making their beaters even uglier with shitloads of plastic and paintjobs, and louder (but it still just sounds like a very loud fart).
I don't pay attention to them.
Other than this, we may have the highest density of sports/exotics car in NA here so there is no shortage of Porsches, Ferraris, etc. who, not really race me, but just drive super fast with me. Those are moments of pleasure.
other 350z, GTI, civics, integras, bmw 3 series, mustangs, camaro always racing themselves once the light goes green lol, i only get respect from rx7, s2000, exige, brz, evo, sti, m6 owners
Dont normally " street race" but my favorite situation had to be this local guy who just got a SRT8 Challenger. He was acting a butthole behind me down a one lane street, revving, zooming up on me. Road turned to two lanes and he nailed it past me and then pointing for us to go, so I had to. I dont think I did anything bad, it lasted for about 3 seconds. I'll never forget the look on his face.
But usually anything and everything. My pet peeve is the Mustangs who past the opposite direction also get on it pretty good to make a statement. I wouldnt mind it so much if they actually made a move whenever we are going the same direction. Its just lip service.
My favorite so far was my dad. We were going out to eat together my wife and me in my Z and my mom and dad in my moms 300c hemi. I told my wife when we left their house, "he is going to try to race me if no one is in front of us at a light and i'm not backing down." she rolls her eyes. We got the perfect break in traffic and we took off. It was pretty much an even race and we both let off at 80.
nobody that would hang with me, like the second day i had the z06 i had a pos 3 series come up beside me and rev. it wasn't worth the gas i would have wasted pulling away from him.

hahaha your dad prolly had the exact same conversation with your mom when they were leaving the house
A lot of truck guys around this state and they bug me the most; annoying like at a light and some jacked up turbo diesel is reving up next to me in a cloud of black smoke just asking for it. I'm sure that they don't like sports cars and these cats seem to have plenty of attitude. No doubt some of those trucks are fast, but I've had to have a little talk with a couple of 'em and they end up complimenting the Z and wonder what kind of exhaust they just heard.
