Smog Question
Hey everyone, so I have a friend with a 350z and she wants to smog her car so that she can sell it, but she doesn't have her cats and she asked me if she could use the numbers on my cats so she can pass smog. She said that a lot of the numbers on our cats are identical and that it wouldn't cause an issue if I tried to smog my car in a month or two. What are your guys' thoughts?? Thanks

Do you really want to take the chance anyways? Just as a dealer (or anyone with access to VIN databases - most every parts and service dept does - can match parts against one another. I doubt there would be any problem with cats or replacement units but again, chance?

Your friend is trying to use you to fix her own problems. I assume she's attractive and you (like me) are not. Tell her to find her own solutions and you've been dating her worst enemy for a year. It's probably a girl working at taco bell.
Don't waste time helping her. We average people have a hard time already.
Tell your friend to start asking old men with prostate issues.
Also, don't give her any money. She'll never pay you back. EVER!
