What do you guys think? I used carbon fiber 5D wrap. I didn't want to wrap the whole hood because I personally don't like it like that. I actually like this because it's different but I want to know what you guys think.

 

It's your car, therefore it's entirely your opinion. If this is what you like, then so be it. Do what makes you happy and enjoy the car.

When you said it was yellow, i pictured it alot worse haha. There's a guy in my town and his hood is YELLOW YELLOW haha its disgusting.

Yeah it could be worse. I actually wet sanded it starting with 800I going to 2000 grit and when its freshly waxed it blends fine.




Its just noticeably older then the hatch.

I actually saw some kid in a Jetta with purple StreetGlow and a shitty exhaust the other night, I hadn't seen that crap since the early '00's.

 

I used to live in fort Walton. I was stationed at hurlburt field. When I was their they had a large population of old square body cars with lift kits and the biggest rims ever made. And some even spinners. Their used to be races on abandoned *** back woods roads like every weekend and some dude had this ugly as **** sleeper honda that he would race against cobras. The cobras and the Z-28s were about the meanest thing around at that time. Some dude would show up with his supra but he never raced anyone just parked next to all the other slow cars and watched.

I towed this old dudes s10 about a month ago that haf some sweet neon lights...

 

Nothing has changed.
There are still a bunch of people driving shitty cars.
There is a guy that has a sleeper Civic, he claimed is making, I want to say 600whp, he walked up to me one night as I was getting in my z and just had to point out how cool he thought his car is, might be the same guy.
There's also a guy in my neighborhood with a Supra, might be the same guy you're talking about, he drives around town like an *******.

 

Yeah seems about right. My niece actually moved down their and lives in Destin now I believe. She must like it because shes been their for years and the rest of the family all lives up here. I remember right after I left the girl I was dating started going out with some dude (very young dude) that had a Lexus sc400 (sweet car in 05) and I was like damn she sure traded up.

Those beaches are awesome... Beaches in New England not so much.

 

OP - Not my style but I think it's a good attempt at doing a cheap mod that can easily be removed if it doesn't look good. I would wrap the roof in CF or black and see what you think. I saw this done on a yellow Z and thought it looked great. If you don't like it, then just scrap it.
