Default To buy my Z back or not

Just after Christmas, I was driving down a wet road by my house and hydroplaned. My baby has been totaled by the insurance company and I am trying to decide whether or not to buy it back and part it out or take the cash. They offered me 9500 for the car in total and told me I could buy it back for 1700.
Mods:
Invidia gemini burnt tip dual exhaust, less than 6 months old
Berk test pipes, less than 6 months old
5/16 plenum spacer, put In within 1 year.
4 new tires, 2 19/275, 2 19/245 all 6 months or newer.
V-speed body kit, previous owner installed
Siebon carbon fiber hood, previous owner installed
New door speakers, only 1 week old.
Aftermarket spoiler, previous owner installed.

The car had 78000 miles on it when the accident happened.

Any advice would be useful. Thanks

Kinda depends on how badly your Z was damaged. If all those parts were undamaged and you're willing to put some sweat equity into removing the parts, marketing them and shipping them out, you might get some ROI. Otherwise, walk away...

Body kit is toast, and I can't tell how bad the damage is underneath from the pics.

That's totaled? What is it, front right suspension, and some body work? Can you list out what is actually damaged? From the pics it looks fixable for maybe 4000. They also base their cost on dealer part prices. I was a hit and run victim and the damage was assessed at dealer part value.

Front suspension probably...
As long as you keep that gauge pod on the pillar you're good to get boosted.

Lol the ******* insurance company moved the car two hours away from me to a "trusted yard". I never got to see the full extent of the damage. All that i saw was that the control arm was bent pretty bad. I might take a drive and go look at it, if there is no subframe damage than ill buy the parts and fix it myself. keep the cash and drive it as a rebuild

Looks like the vital signs of your baby seems good, I would get someone highly qualified to look at the structure and give you an Ok! If all is well I'd purchase it back and bring her back to her glory and pocket a few dollars and or do some more upgrades. Otherwise I would still purchase it back and not touch a thing and sell as is for $2500-$2700 and still make a cool $1000.00 parting out will really be to much trouble and time consumption from were I'm standing! GL sorry for your mishap!!!

I'll give you 2k for it. Then you can use that 2k to buy 1000 powerball tickets.

Then again I just bought someone elses for more. So my opinion might differ from others. My financial and location allows me to have a money pit.

There was a salvaged Z here in SA that was rear ended and sold for 900. Boom, there's all your parts right there. Like I said, gotta be smart about it
