New(ish) 350z
So I have no knowledge about these cars... I had a Jaguar xj8 that literally fell apart. I was looking at some sexy European cars, but stumbled upon a 2004 350z convertible Roadster Touring 2 door with 15,000 miles for $13,900. Garage kept as a second car -looks, drives, and feels brand new. I jumped on it (just yesterday) and am now a proud member of the z club. This thing is FUN to drive. I have a couple questions though.... How many miles are typical for this car? 100k? 150? Fewer? More? And is there anything I need to worry about or get taken care of before I put some miles on this? And was this a good buy? Or anything else I should know/ask.... Would love some feedback from the experts! Thanks!

Well, it depends on if you want to mod for looks or mod for performance.
For looks, I'd recommend getting some wheel spacers if you'll be rocking your stock wheels for a while. Coil overs or lowering springs are also a popular mod to do for a more aggressive look and better handling. Perhaps a stillen splitter would also be of interest to you. Lastly, a shorter antenna; easy and affordable for a more stylish look.
There are many mods you can do to improve performance. The most popular would be a cold air intake and a plenum spacer. High flow cats and a new exhaust are also a nice choice for both looks and performance as well as sound. I recommend the indivia Gemini exhaust system. Or the invidia N1 as well as an Agency Power one if you want to be heard all around the world. After you feel like you've gotten all the performance mods done, you should definitely invest in an UpRev tune.
That's pretty much a brief list of things you can do if you so choose to.
Oh, and if you decide you want wheel spacers, I can ship mine out to you for free. They're just collecting dust after I changed my wheels. I've used them for less than a thousand miles and they're still in excellent condition.

With so few miles, it may still have the original tires. That may be a safety issue you'll want to address first.
My car drives and feels like it's brand new, too.
