Default 350Z vs G35

I am a new member to this forum. I am also doing a research on which car is better ( as far as reliability, fast, look good..Sporty ..etc..)so I can buy one later when I com home this Falls. I am in Iraq on OIF 1&2 and saving money) The z seems to have some problems. I haven't read much about the G.... off course everyone has his/her own opinion.... but I just want some more good info. Both are good cars and price are about the same . Thanx

PS if anyone wondering.how are the troops...I am a First Infantry Division (1ID) Cavalry scout Soldier,19D in Ar Ramadi, Iraq...... about 30 klicks west of Fallujah......... Our troops are doing good..... the next base camp over.....next to mine.... Hurricane Point , on Euphrates River, National Guard from Fl.... make contact every night... but no friendly casualty....

God Bless you soldierboy and all of our troops throughout the world who are protecting our freedom.

Now - boths cars are great, I choose the Z because I wanted a 2-seater sports car, not a "sporty" car - - don't get to worried about what you read on these forums, most of the time your only reading about the worst cases - - My Z has 19,000 miles and I have no regrets - -

apparently the g doesn't have the tire feathering problems. (but hopefully the 04 Z doesn't either).

Aside from the tire feathering, the G has pretty much all of the same issues as the Z - ie nothing major.

Both are great cars for their respective segments. I see the G as something for those looking for a blend of refinement and performance, and the Z as more of an enthusiast's car. I think as far as demographics go the Z appeals to a much much younger audience. The Z is much more fun to drive, the G is more comfortable to drive. I think that about sums it up. You'll know the second you sit in the car which one is for you.

Soldierboy, thanks to you for all you are doing!!

You can't go wrong with either car. As sz28r said it really comes down to your need for 2 vs 4 seats (albeit small rear seats in the G) and a slightly larger trunk in the G. Other than that IMHO it is a matter of which car has the styling you like better. My G Coupe has 14,000 miles on it and no problems.

At the end of the day, no matter which you pick you will not be disappointed.

You want a 2 seat Sports Car? Get the Z
If you need back seats get the G.

I support the Troops all the way! Good luck.

God Bless You....

The 1st thing you have to ask yourself is do you have a family? If you do, then get the G35C, but if you dont go with the z. I dont know what you have heard as far as problems with the z but remember, they have basically the same engine...

"Hooah" Soldier Boy. Athough I am Canadian, I feel you and your fellow soldiers are not only making the U.S. a safer place, but are making the free world safer.

Thanks for doing what you're doing, soldierboy. Hopefully your CO is not like my brother's CO. Come back safe so you can test drive both cars; I went with the Z cuz I didn't want back seats anymore, and it's intense fun to drive.
