Very impressed with dealer service.
I feel sorry for all of you guys going through all kinds of hell with your dealers. All these dealers need to take a lesson from mine: Team Nissan, Oxnard Ca (and no I am not affiliated with them in any way). First time I took her in to the dealer I get 4 freakin Nissan engineers!! Problem hasn't yet been solved but MY DEALER CALLS ME to bring the car back in for the engineers to have another look. Going back in on Tues the 24th.
Today I took the car in for the first oil change. While I am fully capable of doing it myself, I like to have the dealer do it for the record, and who wants to get dirty just to save $18?? So I take it in at about 8:30, I had an appointment so my car goes right in. I talk to the salespeople for a few minutes and then go check out what they are doing to my car. They already have it on the lift and the teck even used wood blocks between the lift and my car to protect it!! Impressive. There are only 2 techs at my dealer that are allowed to touch the Z and the guy that handled mine was totally cool, totally professional. Used the protection matts on the paint, totally careful with the car. I was so impressed I tipped the tech. He tried not to accept so I just put it in his shirt pocket. Thanks guys!

Raceboy, same deal here. Dealer couldn't be better. I gave them a lot of instuctiong before delivery (dont wash, not tire dressings, no plate frame, and no REVING THE ENGINE) and they responded without so much as a blink. This may not sound like much, but I have heard of people who bring their cars in to be serviced with a "Please Don't Wash" sign in the windsheild, and it still gets washed and scratched up. They said they wont let anyone in the car, or let anyone rev the car ect. Also, they were all so exited about the car that they treated it like it was their own.
