Default 2003 350 zStarter power cable route

We have a 03 350z that came in and the power cable from the battery to the starter was off the car among other things. The cable has 3 connections. I've routed it where it needs to go and we are dumb founded where the leads hook up. One goes to the starter from the battery but where does the end one go? It should be obvious but we're not seeing it unless there's more parts gone.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks but it still doesn't tell me where the cable connects to.

We have one at the battery and one on the starter so where would the third connection go?

We thought it would go there but once we run it from the battery then to the starter its not going to reach the alternator unless im looking at this completely wrong.

We did noticed someone run their own power wire to the alternator through the LF apron/strut tower. Which is terrible.

This car is a repo so I have no owner to ask what's going on. I'm just told to put it together to see if it runs. I work at an auction so I tried finding another 350z but of coarse this is the only one on the lot at the moment. (My luck lol)

Just to add to the above replies.
Battery power wire from the fused block on the battery terminal to the alternator than to the starter. It's basically a Y-ed out power wire with a connection in the center. The middle/shortest part of the wire connects at the alternator if it's reversed I don't think it would be long enough. While you are there, might as well throw a 0/1 Big 3 upgrade in

no offense, but maybe working on cars is not your thing.

Having to ask where the other end of a cable goes for the battery charging circuit...ouch.

ask me if i care though? People are too soft and always run to others for answers. Vs taking the time to explore what is right in front of them.

Also, just admit you dont know the answer either.

in my defense, I remember that car being a hacked up piece of **** and there was no good resource to get it back together. That’s why I posted here. Pretty sure we said screw and sent it away.

being some years later, I’m glad I’ve moved on to better things. Looks like you’re still a sh*thead Cux lol
