Default battery disconnects at times

2003 350z
issue: at times when i start my car, i turn the key and all power is lost. i have to go pop my hood and wiggle the positive terminal and then power is restored. My negative terminal is tight, my positive one is a bit loose but i bought a brand new positive terminal connector and it still is loose. The battery is correct size for 350z.

if i tighten the positive terminal all the way it still won't be snug like the negitive terminal.

How old is the battery? Is the positive terminal worn down to a smaller diameter?

Go to pep boys and get the correct terminal/cable. Worse case, shim the terminal with lead shims.

If you can move the terminal, it's the wrong one.

im going to go out on a limp and say, your connector broke or you have the wrong size connector. you can run to autozone and get oem connector for like 5 bucks.
