whatever KBB has it listed for your area...

You have quality parts on the car but they arent going to increase the value above KBB. Back out all the 'parts & labor' costs - you never get money out of aftermarket parts.

sell the car to someone over the age of 35 who will appreciate the condition of the car, appreciate the subtleness of the aforementioned upgrades, and will use this car as a weekend whip and not a daily driver.

Beautiful car, looks like you took great care of it -

So 4892$ per kbb. tack on 25% in parts. Lets say 6grand a fair price?

I just don't wanna drop 3-4grand in a used motor/ transmission and consuming all my home time in the garage wrenching on something I will never get a return investment on other than the satisfaction of saying I swapped it.

Id rather invest in a sportbike again and I will always get a return investment there.

Ask $6 for sure but you'll get talked down to $5 and sell it for $5200

very very very few things with motors are investments...

KBB. But it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.

You can find a z with 120k for $7000 or less especially in California.
