Default I'm ordering a Z tomorrow!

I currently have a 2000 Corvette and the lease is running up in May, after much consideration and searching for the best deal, I am ready to order. So tomorrow I am going down to the Nissan dealership and give them my $1,000 deposit to order a 2004 350Z Touring Coupe; black with burnt orange leather. Buying a car is a big decision, especially when one has had a car such as the Vette. I hope I will be happy with my decision.

Still a hella of a ride---but I'm sure you'll like the new Z car! The vette has been done, the Z is the new head turner.

If it had been a Z06 I was going to tell you to keep it. But since it's not, Z away! And welcome to the family.

SB with BO is a nice combo!
Have you drove the Z yet? If yes, and you can live with the differences in power, then go drop that $1,000 down. If not, you can still go and drop the $1,000 down, but promise you won't make a new post and complain about its lack of power.

Well, it's done, just got back from the dealership. Yes, I've drove the Z and I really like it, it's got alot of power, I think, very peppy car. The main thing I'm going to miss about the Vette is the targa top.
I'm NEVER going to lease another vehicle and I can afford to buy the new Z, can't afford the new C6 Vette, although it would be nice!

My new baby should arrive in April!

Congrat, we are all sharing your excitement on this order.
Regarding the Z order, since it's the middle of the month, your order will likely get turn for the month of March(usually first week of March). Then it's 60-90 days wait for the ordered Z to arrive at dealer; Sounds like a very tight timing between returing your Vett and picking up the Z. Hope it works out.

Congrats on the car. Thats an awesome color choice too. So did you get the Nav? BTW I was just messin with ya on the other tread. I test drove a vette and was amazed at the power. They are definitely nice rides. So being in sunny NC are you going to attend the first annual Z Day Z tail of the Dragon?

They can assure all they want, but unless they have their own personal guy over in Japan building it, loading it on the boat and bringing it from the port to the store, they better hope everything goes very smoothly.
