Hey guys I recently heard some chain slap noise coming from the front cover I removed the front end of the car looked at my main tensioner and guide seemed perfectly fine, have everything ready to remove the front cover but my crankshaft pulley bolt won't budge, I used a 1/2 inch impact, I used the breaker bar and starter method won't budge please help. 06 manual 350z
You're going to need this exact tool to hold your flywheel in place. Then get yourself a 39in by 3/4in breaker bar with a 3/4in 19mm deep socket. It'll come right off.. Trust me.
The rope method?.. I never felt too comfortable trying that. Didn't want to damage anything internally if the crank bolt was seized... But hey, maybe I'm worrying too much.
