Silverstone or Chrome Silver
I've been wondering if either of these shades is better than the other. I'm currently residing in New York, but will be moving to Florida in the next month. Last year I looked over both colors and could barely tell them apart. The question is "Would CS be better in a tropical environment like florida, or would SS be perfectly at home there?" Super Black(and Daytonal Blue) are out of the question but SS, and CS are puzzling me. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have had nothing but great compliments on my silverstone. Even if I could go back to change colors I wouldnt. I live in New Orleans which is a semi-tropical environment. It rains all the time around here and it hardly shows dirt. Get a couple coats of Zaino on there and it stays shiny for weeks, even when dirty.

I was originally set on black but theres some sort of chameleon nature about Silverstone. On sunny days it looks really brilliant and "one" tone silver like gunmetal on a Berretta 9mm.
In the afternoon theres a hint of blue to it which gives it alot of dimension. At night the silver looks darker like stealth silver...almost shades darker than in the daytime. It's as if you have three different colors throughout the course of the day.
Chrome Silver is a classy color but's always going to be silver in any shade. CS and SS can have an inch layer of dirt and still look somewhat clean and shiny.
I have to admit though, theres way too many Silverstones in my neck of the woods. It's too popular of a color that appeals to the younger and older crowd. I'll tell you this though...it's so neutral yet classy that you can't go wrong with either color!

I originally ordered a Silverstone but during the wait a Chrome Silver arrived at the dealer. The dealer wanted me to take a look at the CS and was anxious to make a sale, especially since the weather was colder than a polar bear's butt and snow was hangin'around. I decided to stick with the SS so the dealer got a SS coupe and put it next to the CS roadster for comparison. There had been a light rain the night before and I noticed that you could see the water spots on the SS but not on the CS. It was very close but in the end the dealer offered significant bucks off if I took the CS. The two silvers are so close that it didn't matter and at that point the only color I saw was green (mine). Really can't go wrong with either. If I owned the Zaino Co. and California Duster Inc. I would have opted for the black. Really wanted it but knew better. Pick any color, all the fun is on the inside in the driver's seat.

Both colors are awesome on the Z - - I went with CS, for me it's just a classy silver - - I really struggled with the choice at first but after a year of ownership, I'd buy another CS today - good luck and enjoy.

It's true there are more CS Z's on the road then any other color.
Add me to that list.
But so what. I think there are too many Z's on the road. There everywhere over here. Like God Damn Civics
I had an 04 SB/BLACK TOURING and that car looked hot. Especially at night.
My CS TRACK looks great on a nice sunny day.
Either way you cant go wrong with the Z. There all hot.

I chose the SS cause as mentioned above the colors do change throughout the course of the day. I think the color makes the car look more masculine if that makes any sense. I see similar colors on bmw's and audi's and I think those look better than the lighter silvers.

Go Silverstone. I just got mine and I love it :-)
Plus, you can get the burnt orange interior with the Silverstone.
I believe with the chrome silver, the interior choices are black or frost.

I am partial to black.. Dont be lazy. COme on.. you can spend $30k for a car and you cant cough up the dough for a couple extra carwashes? Black is ooo so pimp. That new Liquid aluminum is phatty too though, but the $1100 surcharge is excessive. Anyway, get the CS if you are deciding between the CS and SS. My .02

I was at a hobby shop and picking up some japanese model paint for my little model cars. I picked up "Light Gunmetal" and it was the exact shade as our Silverstone. My can of touch of paint from the body shop says "Nissan WV2 Gunmetal".
