Default This colour?

Hi all. I'm new here and looking to buy a 350z. Does anyone know if this car is chrome silver or silverstone grey? It belongs/belonged to a poster here called trtlspeedZ . Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Oh I should have said that the picture attached is not the car I'm buying, I just came across the picture on this site and I want to buy the exact same colour.

Thank you MicVelo for replying with that very useful chart.

I'm looking at a car in the UK that is listed as silver - it's a 2008/9 model. By the looks of that chart there were a number of silver types and an aluminium available - were they available in different years?

Thanks

There were two silvers available after '06 or '07:

Carbon Silver (replaced Silverstone)
Silver Alloy (replaced Chrome Silver)

Love my KY0 CS but man, I saw a silver one not long ago that was freshly polished.... the one year only "Liquid Aluminum" - not as "bright and reflective" as my Chrome Silver but wow, it looked realllllly nice.

But ya, if you're looking only at those years (HR models, essentially), those are the silvers available.

I know you did and thank you again travlee. I still cant figure out what colour it is - it looks to ‘metal like’ to me for silverstone - I always think silverstone has a ‘plastic’ appearance ... I sent a message to trtlspeedZ but no reply. Anyone got a clue?

No way to settle this other than by comparison (which isn't exactly 100% due to lighting differences; particularly on SILVER).

Pretty sure it's NOT KY0 Chrome Silver. (And if you're looking at '07+ cars, it's definitely not as it was superseded before '07)

THIS is Chrome Silver:

And the one year ('04) Liquid Aluminum is close to Chrome Silver (on the bright side, no blue/gray hue)

============

I'd bet on WV2 Silverstone or K51 Carbon Silver/Platinum Graphite due to the blue/gray tint.

Pulled from web:

Color you want.
