Question Cruise control not working? No light

I’m going kind of crazy here trying to figure this out. I’ll keep looking, but maybe someone has experienced it.

05 Enthusiast AT, cruise control will not work. (No light on dash) It hasn’t worked for a few months.

Brake lights are working.
I have not been able to pull any codes.
Clock spring has been replaced and CC worked afterwards.
Just took steering wheel apart, everything is connected.
After market radio was done 4 years ago, CC have worked after.

Did you check to see if the lock-nut on you ASCD cancel switch didn't become loose and allow the switch to move in the direction toward the drivers seat, which in turn would keep this switch in a ''constantly cancelled'' state, eliminating its functionality...?

When you say no light, do you mean the CRUISE light, the SET light, or both?

The ASCD cancel switch in the brake pedal assembly wouldn't prevent the CRUISE light from coming on. You're switch inputs aren't getting from the steering wheel to the ECU. The wiring is fairly simple. The switches connect to the clock spring in the steering wheel, which is then wired directly to the ECU. The service manual includes a schematic on page EC-618.
