I have an 04 with hid 8pin connector so it was plug and play with the new headlights. Gutted the old lights and transferred them to the new....
Bought some new headlights and I think they are draining my battery. Either an old battery or I have a electrical / grounding issue. I wrapped some copper around a bolt thinking it would solve the issue but I've been getting weak start ups lately. Gonna check my battery and see if a 2006+ ballast and bulb will make any difference. What do you guys think?
linking the video again of my problem.
just bought these new headlights and it's direct plug and play but I'm having a grounding issue like the one in the video
I lined up some copper wiring onto a metal bolt inside the headlight thinking it'll do the job but I think the new lights ended up draining my 14 year old battery.
I just replaced the battery right now and I'll show you my crap grounding job in the pics below
you think I might need a 2006+ hid ballast and bulb?
I gutted my 2004 lights and just swapped them over to the new lights.
