ECM

My ecm went out. A buddy of mine parted out his Z. Same year. Same trim. Same type of trans. Can I go ahead a plug in his computer in my Z? Or will I have to reprogram it? (Note: his Z had an uprev license)

Yes you can but you will need to flash it with a new ROM that has NATS disabled or it won't start. Either that or get the keys reprogrammed.
