Just bought an 03 and have been driving it for about a month now. Must say it has been an awesome driving experience/

I noticed that the sliding cassette for the cup holder that is mounted in the front dash is completely messed up. Not to mention that actual plastic cup holder has pieces that are broken off.

Unfortunately from my searches I am noticed that its a pretty expensive little cup holder. To me I don't really care for it, I can just glue the cover in there and call it a day, but if anyone here has a scrap car they are using for parts and has one for a black interior that would be willing to part with for a good price I would be willing to buy it!

Man someones been drinking coffee soo hard. The center console holder should be pretty easy to find. But not all Z's have the in-dash piece. So you'll have to look harder. I've yet to find a junked Z in the DC/Maryland area. Anyway good luck with the hunt. IMO the in-dash is worthwhile unless you're just racing.

 

The center console cup holder is kinda in a bad spot; when I bought my 350z I did not have either. I was able to replace my dash cup holder off ebay a few years ago for about $35 and the center console was maybe $15. Worth it? I think so for the dash. The center not so much

 

Agreed. I use the floppy dash holder occasionally. The center console "holder" never really held anything very well and I ended up taking it out. My elbow kept hitting it and it was basically just becoming a nuisance.

I debated on getting some interior door trim pieces (I have an '05) that have the cup holder integrated into it, but it looks like that is good for a small 12 oz can or water bottle and the price doesn't exactly justify the cost. That, and my Yeti or Tervis cups won't fit and that's essentially all I use for drinks.
