How tall are you?
What up peeps,
I'm in the market for my first new car ever, a manual 350 Z Roadster and am worried how it will feel when driving as I'm 6'6" with an averager build.
I sat in an automatic coupe last Sunday and it felt ok after I lowered and put back the seat - didn't test drive though. I haven't had time to sit in a manual Roadster yet. Perhaps tomorrow? It's odd, being a newbie, it doesn't feel right to test drive one until I'm ready to buy.
Any ways, I was wondering if there were any fellow giants out there that could let me know how it feels after driving for a good amount of time. I don't want to be doomed to SUVs
Cheers.

Re: How tall are you?
I'm only 6'1" so I don't have any problems at all in my Roadster. But, if the Coupe felt OK to you, you'll be alright because the Coupe and Roadster interior dimensions are the same, except for the head room, which the Roadster actually has an extra 1" (until you pop the top, then there's infinitely more headroom). You could probably test drive a Coupe to get an idea how roomy the Roadster will be for you. Interestingly enough, the knee pad that they added to the 2004.5 models is no where near where my knee comes, and I'm only 6'1". It'll probably be an ankle brace for you.

I am 6' 4" and 200lbs. and fit well in both the Coupe and the Roadster. And like someone mentioned earlier, the Roadster actually has 1" more headroom than the Coupe.

I have the coupe, but...
I am 6-1 (No problem, can even wear a hat)
brother is 6-5 (240) and is ok
friend is 6-5 (260) and is ok
Note, I do have one friend 6-4 (250) he does not fit. Lot's of weight below the belt line lol!

6'4" 240lbs. fit just fine and don't sweat it if you are willing to pay 25 to30 k for a car it's ok to take a test ride and I mean a long one. I took a short ride with the salesman just to see if I fit and when we got back to the showroom I told him I would be back for a long ride to see if I could live with the car. Three days later I took a long ride alone and thats what sold the car, I suggest you do the same! Good Luck!
