Default Help! P0024

How do I get rid of check engine light for code p0024? Already replaced camshaft position sensor for bank 2 but still comes back. Started getting a rough idle when in drive and at a stop sign or light.

Have you checked the power, ground and signal wire from the connector? do a visual inspection on the wires/terminals. It could also be caused by the solenoid itself if it is sticking. The viscosity of the oil could cause this as well, but a longshot, as I would expect other systems that rely on oil would throw DTC's as well.. Did you recently get an oil change done?

Where did you get your part from and what brand? Also, just try uninstalling then reinstalling it. Sometimes the connection might have been loose or the sensor not pushed in all the way.
