I ordered a Veilside V1 lip from Colin at Bulletproof a couple of weeks ago. Since then, no lip, no one one answers the phone or Emails.

Are they out of business?

Is anyone else being stood up on an order right now?

Anybody know?

 

i ordered from him...rich from bulletproof just recently posted a thread about how they are now getting containers every 2 weeks instead of every month..they are very much in business

 

I've been waiting since Dec. 8th for a part. You have to wait until their containers come in before they ship. So it can be a while. But they should be responding to your emails. Not sure what's up with that.

 

Colin was very sick for a while, I understand.

 

Yeah Daytona, Colin called me last week saying he'd been ill and that it would ship soon.

Uh OK, but you know what - it's over a week later and still no lip. Sort of makes you wonder if these guys are serious about being viewed as a legitimate business or not.

 

I've ordered plenty of parts from them with no trouble. You should just be patient. I waited about 4-6 weeks for my Veilside lip. That is perfectly normal.

 

They are very much in business and they are truly great ppl. I think they're really busy sorting and organizing those containers that come in. I picked up my Veilside Lip from Rich in less than 2 days, but it also helps that I'm less than 30 miles away...

 

I got my Cusco sway bars from them with no problems.

Sometimes parts take a while to get.

I know they've had problems getting the Veilside V1 kit in the past.

 

They're very much in business. I'll be heading down to their shop tomorrow to verify that they're still there. Want me to take a picture?

 

same with me i ordered the lip few weeks ago but no reply yet. However i called the shop last week and they said they are picking it up from Veilside this week and takes another week to be shipped

 

I'm keeping this one alive because it's 5 March and I still haven't received my V1 lip yet.

For all of you that have responded in Bulletproof's defense, I'm glad you live near them. For the rest of us, however, when a sales rep tells you "it will ship tomorrow" and then goes into the stealth mode for two weeks, you can't help but be suspicious.

Are these guys a business or not?

Is it a Urethane, fiberglass or carbon lip? Veilside is still backordered on a lot if parts, and I have been shipping out the orders in the order recieved

Who told you " it would ship tomorrow" and when? I did pick up from Veilside last week, but it was only urethane pieces, and a coule of wings. Everything else has not been released still

I was shocked... The other day I think it was Friday, I was driving in my car and I got a call from someone at bullet proof. They had found a small postit note we put my info on reguarding some Mines Test pipes I ordered on the initial group by back in the day when no one else made test pipes or high flow cats for the z...

They called me to see if I ever picked them up. I thought that was very nice and courtous... I had sold them to someone else and the other person picked them up. It did take over 3 months for the test pipes to come in, and by that time I was already working at Performance Nissan and got my RT High Flow's.

But.. just the fact that they called to ask, was very cool of them!

What do you mean? Is Collin leaving? I thought he was "in it to win it" when it came to import cars? I heard from him that he was at the Top Secret booth at D1...is he leaving the business? Please give us an update...

Colin is no longer with our organization. And to clarify, Colin was not at D1 with us when we were representing Top Secret.

We're undergoing a few changes to better serve Nissan 350Z owners. I can assure you that we are far from out of business, in fact we are stronger than ever. Our shipment times from Japan have become twice as fast as before, and we are working on a few major surprises for upcoming months. You'll see some of them soon.

There have been some slight growing pains lately, but the result is a much more solid business.

We've been in business for four years and we're not going anywhere. You'll see us around for a long time to come.

With business there are employees that come and go, it's just, business...
