Default How to fill the 6MT back up?

I have a long hose with a funnel, but it was about 1 ft short to make it to the fill hole from the front. Anyone have ideas on how to refill the tranny back up once drained? Luckly I didn't drain it yet!

What you want to do is get about 3' of clear 1/2" plastic tubing "they sell it a pet stores for aquariums. Press fit the end of your funnel into one end of the tubing. With it being clear you can tell when the tranny is topped off with out wasting alot of fluid.

Plug or cap the tubing to keep it clean for the next time you need it.

Okay guys, finished. I bought 2 things. A hose that attaches itself to the bottle, and a small pump from autozone. The 1st one didn't work, but the small pump did. It is a hand pump and it worked beautifully, but a bit messy.

My shifts are much easier now, 2nd gear still has me wonder why I have that little metal sounding noise when I go into it, but other than that its all set.
Amsoil 75w90 Gear oil, 2000 series. .. Love it!

Check the Technical Service Bulletin on the teansmission and you will see that you have to use GL4 75W85 weight gear oil. This is required for your transmission warranty. But, most dealers do not stock it and you will have a hard time finding this specific weight gear oil. Just thought that I would warn you. If your transmission has to have warranty work done on it and the dealer or zone rep finds that you have changed to the wrong weight oil they might not warranty the transmission. If you want the TSB for this send me an email.

Amsoil Series 2000 75W90 meets the GL-4 API service code requirement.

That isn't true. 75w90 meets and exceeds the specifications. Also my 1-2 shift is now perfectly SMOOTH, no more grinding after 100 miles of driving! Amsoil is great!
