I would recommend trying a couple other dealers (granted, they may not be as nearby as that first one). This dealer may have been burned working on older cars in the past, and just decided they were not going to deal with it anymore. All sorts of problems can crop up when working on older or modified vehicles, so I could see where a dealer says "forget it, we're not gonna open ourselves up to that".

And, unfortunately, it sounds like the situation with your vehicle (prior work already performed, failed repair in progress, etc.) would be something they would want to avoid.

Maybe there is an independent Nissan repair shop that also has access to the necessary tools to re-program the immobilizer and code in new keys?

ikr but it a the warranty policy. damn stupid cuz i just hit 113k and i dont think local shop can do this, i had been looking for hours and hours and the only thing i can find is to the check the bcm to see if the wire or the bcm is bad if it is replace it and reprogram (idk if i still need consult lll for that) or take it to uprev and they can tune it and remove it. right now i dont have alot of option cuz i dont have alot of money and i just spent alot trying to get it fix

so i just send my ecu to uprev and order the nats disable. i have been emailing the support team and i have a question unanswer because they do not know
since i brought a new ignition switch (came with the key and the black box) and i was wondering if i will still need to have the igniton and the key reprogram still or can i use turn and start? the dude from support team said i dont know. also i know alot of peoples it will disable or you got to disable nats, do they mean disable nats forever or just until the problem happen again?
