Default Car won’t start U1000 code

So I was trying to test my coil packs and while trying to reach the one under my air intake I slipped with pliers and cut into one of the wires causing a spark and the engine shut off and won’t start. All my fuses are good and the car will crank just not start. When I put the key in the on position all the lights come on but my radiator fan kicks on full blast. The only code I’m running is U1000 and I can’t figure out what’s keeping it from turning over

U1000 is a scary code to have, i've seen this code twice on my car in 2018 where my car would just shut off at highway exits. It's a communication error code with the CAN bus. I bought a new ground wire for the battery & it never happened again. The new ground cable for the battery was a better connection than the old cable. Buy one from conceptzperformance if you need one. We have more fuses behind the battery it's covered.
