Default Difference Between 03-05 & 06+ Brembos?

I'm installing a Maverick Motorsports dual caliper bracket, but as soon as everything bolted up, I noticed the rotor was rubbing the extra caliper at some point. Upon looking at it, it seems that the original caliper mounts perfect, but the extra one seems crooked in a way.

So this had me thinking I may have gotten mismatched years of Brembo calipers, which the Maverick Motorsports website says you shouldn't do. Can anyone tell me how to differentiate between 03-05 and 06+ Brembo calipers? I'm sure I got the same years, but maybe the seller wasn't accurate when he sold them to me. I cant seem to find any info on what the differences are. I cant even find the casting numbers or any guide on where to find / ID them. They look identical to my eye but I'm sure the difference can't be seen easily.

The rotors I am using are Z1 motorsports replacement rotors, but I doubt those make a difference.

Interested in more input, but I believe they are all the same

Rotor sizes should be the same, its the piston diameter that differs. I never took pictures but the 07-08 front calipers has slightly larger pistons. I know so because I have owned both DE and HR Brembos.

Not 100% sure on measurements, IIRC its been years since I had held the calipers in hand...
DE = 44 & 38mm
HR = 44 & 44mm

Thanks for those measurements! Looks like I'll be uninstalling them and measuring the pistons on the rear then. This is really strange. If the castings are the same (besides the piston diameter on the rear), the pads are interchangeable, and the rotors are the same, then why would they have to be "years matching" ?

On their website (link), they state "- All years of Brembo and Akebono will match up", but then they say you need to can't use 03-05 hardware on 06+ hardware. I'm guessing the latter requirement only applies to non-Brembo brake applications.

I just found another thread on here from 4 years ago of a guy who had similar issues. But he grinded his calipers, which is honestly very sketchy. His problem of them "locking up" is also vaguely strange.

I'm starting to think the brackets are not usable with Brembo brakes despite their claims that it is. I'll keep trying but I want to know whether I need to purchase new brackets or new calipers because I don't want to go in a loop and end up with 2 brackets and 2 sets of calipers.

My mistake, I was only talking about the front calipers. I missed the part that you were doing a dual rear setup. I know that the front calipers are different by the piston diameter size variances. I suppose if the front has different calipers between the DE and HR, then the rear may have had updates as well, though not well documented.
