Default 350Z Hidden Features

While doing some research about buying a 2005 350Z i came across a video that was pretty neat. It had showed some neat things about the Z's, a lot of y'all may already know these but I am posting for those who don't.

1) If you hold the unlock button on your key fob the windows will roll down.
2) If you insert your keys into the cylinder lock on your driver's door and hold it clockwise & the windows will roll up
3) If you car does not beep when you look it (or) if you do not want it to beep simply hold the lock button and the unlock button at the same time.
4) There is an emergency hatch release in case your key fob dies or if you you're in a situation and need to get out underneath the strut tower behind the front seats, you will have to look for it ti find it.
5) There is a little tray underneath the mat in the "glove box" behind the passenger seat.

If you know of any others feel free to share below!!

Recently purchased a 350Z for toodling around in.. sorry i have not owned one for 17 years.
SO I appreciate the inside info and secret items that everyone who isn't a life timer elitist might not be aware of.

You guys could get off your pedestals and horses now and then.
come down here to the common's and communicate with us normal mortals.

even better you could contribute to this topic and not condemn it.
since you have so much more experience and knowledge available for this platform.

The real lesson here is if no one makes new posts this forum dies.
Considering this page gets about 5-8 topics at most a day .
I would venture to say the site owners and advertisers appreciate people making new threads now and then.

I would assume that most people who come here appreciate new threads.
I would assume people that have been here for decades with a wealth of knowledge would be appreciative of someone seeking their wisdom and asking them to share it.
I would assume that most people on boards of out of date and dying platforms appreciate content. rehashed or not.
I would assume like the other 7-8 forums i visit a day for my platforms that the search function over all is a useless POS. and doesn't really work well.
I would assume if noone made new threads you guys wouldn't have any where to up your post count telling them their is air in the system still.
I would assume a healthy online community would he willing to spread their knowledge and insights and not bash people for sharing neat info.
I would assume people that have had a platform or on a forum for a certain model vehicle would be ready to help others that might not have the same experience base.

The lesson here is we should welcome activity. and communication and look for chances to spread info and help each other.
Not haunt around a half dead forums waiting in the shadows for a chance to jump out on people being helpful to tell them " LOL USE DE SEARCH FUNCTION NEWB"

There’s a 3rd fuse box behind the battery in the battery compartment...

This is so true. I don't know an enthusiast forum I use that has a good search function.

The suggestion (I think in the FAQ here) to use the "site:<whatever forum web address> <search terms>" method of googling has worked well for me.

I like your post. Truthfully, although I was familiar with most of the info in your post, I did not know about #5, and I have been an owner for 17 years!

Thank you for posting useful information. I have set my preferences to follow you. --Spike

Never saw it; never looked for it. Probably because I never realized a need for it.

I am glad that NEW2THEZ took the time to post his information. I am certain that there are some readers here that were not aware of the features he lists.
