Default Not reading OBD II Scanner?? not the ECU? NEED HELP!

Long story short, I had a header leak and it burnt the wiring harness together on my 04 350z

I replaced the wiring harness and it would start but be in limp mode and not rev past 1500 RPMS, I had a series of codes P0103, p0118, p0113, p0183, p2138, p1229, p101, and after having it on a few times it eventually it won't start anymore, only cranks and now the check engine doesnt appear on the dash (i had en electition tell me that it means its not communicating with the ecu) , it wont read the obd scanner and the fans come on when I put the key in the on position

I replaced the ecu and that didnt fix anything, any idea what it could be, i did some digging on the forums and maybe its the IPDM box, positive battery terminal or BCM, anyone have any insight on how to fix this? would be much appreciated!

does your scan tool power up when plugged into the data link connector? have you checked potential fuses in reference to the PCM/BCM?

Check the fuse for your OBD Port. It is not in the IPDM Fuses, It is up on top passenger side by intake manifold.

If I experienced this I would have changed out the ecu also. Have to ruled out a NATS/anti-theft possibility? Does the red light on dash stay on? The chip in your key has to "shake hands" with the electronics before it will start. Gl!

Um so did you ever get this issue figured out? Cause my car is doing the exact same thing... it started with bogging down, hesitation, back firing. Throwing codes for the knock sensor, and random misfire. So i changed the knock sensor, new spark plugs, new boots on the coils. Now after doing that my car will not start, and the obd2 isnt connecting. I have literally drove the car 75 miles.
