Default LOUD rattle in the.... roof?

Started hearing an incessant rattle coming from the passenger side vanity mirror area. Would rattle unless absolutely stopped.

Took down that corner of the headliner and it seems it is in the roof. I guess? Anyone else have this?

I'm wary of taking down the entire headliner and creating more rattles. It has since only rattles on rough roads at high speed but it is distracting to say the least.

Couple questions:
Are the wires for the 07/08 module in the headliner run down the passenger side?

Is there a way to get inside the roof?

Is there possibly some type of ferrous fastener maybe come loose I could fish out with a magnetic worm?

I may be sounding like a wus when it comes to rattles but I am an audiophile and quite sensitive to noise pollution. Call it what you will but my character is not about to change anytime soon.

If anyone gets you it's me I'm CONSTANTLY taking the interior apart trying to rid of rattles lol. I think I have gotten most of them by now but I do have one in the dash on passenger side and my mirrors rattle. That's on the to do list for spring 2021.

I have that dash one too. It comes and goes. I think I found the rattle in the roof last night. There IS a wire going right along where the rattle was emanating. I pulled the wire some so hopefully it fixes it.

Did you sail panels rattle? Mine still do with music. I put 3m double sided tape around them but I don't think it helped much.

As unintuitive as this sounds, the #1 thing that helped my rattles was putting in my 4 channel amp. It cleaned up the music so much that 80% of the rattles went away.

What are the sail panels? My car is almost silent naturally except for the dash rattle, the other vibration comes from the audio (bass) but it's not unbearable. I guess I could always get different mirrors but I like my Nismo glass lol. I'm considering stuffing some dynaliner between the door and mirror and see if that will dampen some of it.

Sail panels are where the stock tweeters are.

I put some noico behind the door 6.5s and I also put this like little foam bulb behind the rear of it. I don't hear my glass rattle at all.

Well, maybe it's my side mirrors vibrating then. Never actually thought of that.

Sooo... I think the rattle might have been my garage door opener lol. I just got a garage in the city it's a new addition to my car (had to clean out the duplexes garage myself and threaten the landlord that I would move if I didn't get it, worked). Took it down from the vanity mirror and haven't heard anything since.
